Dear Engineering Students (taking 1st Year Modules)
Here is a FAQ that will guide you during "CORS Tutorial Registration' period.
Do I need to ballot for tutorials?
Students who have their modules/lectures pre-allocated to them will also have their tutorials pre-allocated.
Such students are not required to ballot for any tutorials.
However, students who have successfully bid for their modules/lectures are required to ballot for tutorials.
For an example, Electrical Engineering students who have bid for PC1431 as a ULR will need to ballot for the PC1431 tutorial.
What about Labs?
Lab sessions will be pre-allocated according to each students' individual grouping (A01, B02, D01..).
For an example, a Bioengineering student who is in group D01, will have her lab sessions every Wednesday 2-5pm.

Appeals:
In order for us to process all appeals efficiently, we urged all students to send all requests or even queries (walk-ins, phone calls, emails) through one standard
proper channel that is via CORS Appeal. This will help us respond to your appeals and questions much faster.
Students are also highly encouraged to check your emails regularly or find out from your peers of any announcements regarding student matters.
Another useful source on information regarding student matters will be our Undergraduates Website, www.eng.nus.edu.sg/ugrad
Tutorial Add/Drop/Swap:
Students who wish to change their allocated tutorial slots can do so on their own during the Add/Drop/Swap round, 23 August 2006.
Other Announcements:
EG1415:
There are still available vacancies for EG1415. Students who are interested to take up this module, please send an email to engbox31@nus.edu.sg stating your matric no. and preferred lecture slot.
EG1413:
Students who are required to take EG1413 in Semester 1 are highly encouraged to take this module now. Please register via this link: https://team.nus.edu.sg/eng/announcements/Lists/Application%20for%20EG1413/register.htm
EG471 Tutorials:
As we were unable to fit all EG1471 students according to the planned schedule, these students will be pre-allocated to a different timeslot that does not clash with their core modules.
Please note that EG1471 (English for Academic Purposes -- Engineering) is a REQUIRED course for you which means you need the course before you can proceed to EG1413/graduate.
It would be in your best interest to clear this course as soon as possible.
