Internet is such a wonderful thing!
Guus can download his favourite University-time Duch TV shows from the network, which only makes his viewing hour more flexible.
For me, I found back my favourite BBC and Symphony 92.4FM on the live radio via internet. It is even better quality than hearing from FM radio.
It just makes me remember those old times in Eton Hall. Listening to the classical music and dancing in the hall wall. I couldn't find a more perfect background than the wide colonial style corridor with great views of green grass and trees.
Symphony 92.4 remains my favourite music station because it has absolutely minimal disruption by advertisements and unbearable DJs.
"BBC rules all." was the comment given by Guus after we listened to it the first time. The news coverage is truly world wide with adequate background information. I used to listen to it on the morning school bus and when cleaning my room in Dunman High Hostel. Now, the old habit comes alive again, only Guus shares the interest as well.
With the internet TV and radio, I really feel contented with a life without TV. Totally agree with Dan Brown's remark that "TV takes away all the thinking work for you." "and all the time you have." by me.
I can live without TV, but I doubt if i can do without internet. :-)
