When somebody asked me "so what do you nomrally do during weekend?"
My answer came out almost automatically "Sleep".
Yeah, I know sleeping can hardly be considered as an entertainment. But for me, that is what I always wanted to do. I am longing for the kind of happiness when I feel I have slept enough. But it rarely happened.
To my surprise, when I finally could sleep away several weekends, I feel unhappy and restless. It feels as if I have wasted the time and I don't feel relaxed at all. Then I realise relaxation does not mean doing nothing. Quite the contrary, doing something one really like and getting one really tired physically is the best way to relax one's mind. And you will be guaranteed a good night of sleep, too!
Here is the list of natural places I want to go. Always conscious about my wallet, I am so glad that They are Absolutely Free:
1 East Coast Park
2 West Coast Park
3 Bukit Timah Hill
4 natural reserviors (Bedok, MaCritchie, Upper/lower Seletar, Upper/lower Pierce, Kranji)
5 Marina South
6 Marina Promenade (The park if you walk all the way to the end of Marina Square)
7 Esplanade – theatre on the bay and the park around
8 Merlion Park
9 Fort Canning Park
10 Pulau Ubin
11 Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve

I wrote this article around Jun 5 last year when I was still doing my internship. I don't know why I didn't put it on the blog. Well, actually I always have the tendency to feel "the article" need further editing, so I tell myself I will put them up later, but forget afterwards.
The list was compiled then, and when I check now, I think I indeed have visited quite a number of them. Just to name a few, West Coast Park, Merlion Park, Pulau Ubin. Really happy that I am no longer just a "dreamer", but also a "doer".
