Mum's parcel finally arrived yesterday, by sea (so no wonder it takes longer than Guus's). And cards from Guus's family and Jose arrived at our mail box too.
But there are so many more congratulations waiting for me in the email box.
My Aunt Ping sent an ecard on behalf of the whole family. Laojie sent me both an ecards and a Parcel too!
Furthermore, surprise email from Madam Wong and Mr Tan (my gardian in Dunman High) and Prof Poh!
Not forgetting the messages from Qinqin, Yu and Jackie.
Thanks everyone. It is really nice to know that some many people care about me. You made my day!
And here is how Guus and I celebrated my birthday yesterday.
Finally, we found the time to walk the whole 12km track at MaCritchie reservior and the first time for me to be in a tropical forest. It was such a unique experience. When you are inside the forest, you can hardly remember you are still in a urban city. It was so quiet and we saw many wild animals, such as turtle, monkies and strange water creature. Highly recommend the tree top walk and also the inner most area where the Island Country Club lies.
When we emerged from the forests after about 5 hours of walk, I felt totally exhausted, but also relaxed.
Just one tip, remember to bring enough drinking water and pack your own lunch cos there is no where you can buy things.
