Immediately after school reopened, life is getting back to normal. No, actually it is getting faster.

I went to a make-up workshop organised by NUS.
Looks like I am really into this staff recently. Just attended the grooming course by OAR, now a make-up workshop. But i find it is really complementary to the last one since the other one didn't have time to go into detail about the Dos and Don'ts. At the end, each participants got a small package of foundation, lipstick and eye shadow with this season's newest Shishado colour conbination.
The most unexpected thing was the instructor made a perfect curled eye lashes which I thought was impossible for my straight one And I even got a lucky draw with a $20 worth of skin care product. I have never been so lucky!

1st Mar Wed
Working at the CASE conference in the city. Yesterday's make-up lesson was really in time cos I have to wear really formal for this job.
7:30, I am already at the registration table, helping to register the delegates before the grand opening. The day's events was really long, from 9 am till 10pm. So at every break, the delegates are just like school kids who got breaks, all rushing out of the meeting room chatting and enjoying the snacks.
And the snacks are really delicious. Have you eatten salty spinach cream tart? I have only seen the normal sweet egg tart before. And the brownie are great too!
The day's work had nothing much to talk about. But it was a good occasion for me to see how such an event is organised and observed how people socialising/networking at this kind of occasion.

4th Mar Sat
Oh, finally finally finally, I finished the translation job that has been taken all my free time since end of December. Harray!!
But the feeling of relief doesn't come easy. I still spent about a few evenings this week and the whole of saturday doing finishing the remaining 3 files.
The work was really hurting my neck. After about 2 hours, I am literally frozen in the position, with my eyes staring to the screen, fingers on the keyboard and neck going numb.
So we celebrate the finishing with dances in our living room! Guus was even happier than me that he drank some chilled beer. I never know he felt so bad for me when seeing me doing all those work!

5th Mar Sun
Thought it would be a free sunday finally. But not it isn't .
Next Monday HR2002 mid term and I still have to finish Eng Prof project draft which will be discussed on Tuesday.
Furthermore, got an individual assignment for the biz legal environment course. I have read the relevant chapters in both text books and I am still not sure if my answers are correct.
So Guus has to go for the movie screen at UCC alone. Since we started to go there for the Dutch week, this week is already the third time and they are showing an Israeli movie. Guus said it was sth different from last week's chinese movies 那山，那人，那狗 and 红河谷. I actually didn't know both very well before watching them, the second one is a bit more famous. But to my surprise, we both like the first one more since the story was so touching. I heard many people sobbing in the darkness and I felt my eyes are getting watery too. Strongly recommend!

This week is Mid-term week. Monday got HR essay which counts for 10% of the total; Saturday had Woman's health also essay test counts for 40%.
Another theme is of course my 3 reports, HR, Eng Econ and Marketing. All three deadlines are within two weeks, 20th, 24th and 30th.
Tuesday I was sick, so couldn't attend project meeting and my legal lecture. Furthermore, i also missed a guest lecture from Samsang's six sigma. But still there is something nice happened.

什麽地方呢？他不告诉我。
周晚上我们出门坐166到了圣陶沙。坐车上岛，一直到新修的siloso beach那站。
在远处就听到音乐声，还有五彩的灯光。走近一看，原来是一个临时搭建的舞台，正在举行live jazz concert。
还从没有在新见过这样relax的气氛，真有点让我误以为还在欧洲。
一小片草地上散落着放了几张及膝高的矮桌，周围铺几块看起来极粗糙的草编席子。人们盘腿坐在上面，聊天喝啤酒。也有人自己带了毯子，还有人在野餐。各式各样的狗狗安静地趴在它们的主人周围，也欣赏这优美的音乐。
我们贪图无人静谧的海滩，便远离了人群，坐到沙滩上。四周都是黑的，除了无云的夜空中一轮（几乎是）满月。银色的月光水一般泻下来，一直流到海里去了。微微的海风吹拂着椰子树的叶子（头一次注意到它们竟然是对称着长的）。我们欣赏眼前的景色的，对面是几个小岛（其实只能算沙丘。我和小荷对于它们到底是本来就在那儿的呢，还是翻修时人工堆砌的问题仔细研究了一番），上面郁郁丛丛地长（栽）了一排热带树，用聚光灯从下往上打亮，一不小心，我还真以为我们到了哪个热带岛屿度假呢。
在这里，没有城市的喧嚣（远处的jurong island就忽略不记了），也没有压力和烦恼。我很久一来都没有这样放松了。两年前，也是在一个mid-term考试之后，小荷带我来sentosa听jazz concert。谢谢你，总能让我如此放松。
