Episode 1 "Unleashing Minds" :
Episode 1 looks at the “hip and happening” NUS of today through a day in the lives of three students - an undergrad, graduate student and international student. Through these profiles, viewers will see NUS as a vibrant and exciting place to learn, share, develop and bond. Share the excitement of the University's innovative programmes, arts and culture and residential living.
Episode 2 "Transforming Lives" :
Episode 2 focuses on some prominent NUS alumni – the men and women who graduated and went on to contribute significantly to society and country. Featured in this episode are government leaders, movers and shakers of society, and members of the medical fraternity.
Episode 3 "Gateway to the World" :
This final episode covers the global dimension of University's major thrusts - education, research and entrepreneurship. It looks at the support NUS provides its faculty and students in achieving their global aspirations. Success stories featured include homegrown research and entrepreneurship that have major impact on society. This episode also encompasses the University's extensive network of global alliances with organizations such as the Association of Pacific Rim Universities and world-class institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (in the Singapore-MIT Alliance), Duke University and others.
"NUS - Crossing the Centennial" - Postponement of Episode 2 telecast
In view of Channel NewsAsia's "live" coverage of the International Olympic Committee's press conference on Wednesday 6 July 2005, we wish to inform the campus community that Episode 2 of the NUS Centennial TV documentary titled “Transforming Lives” has been rescheduled to Wednesday 13 July 2005 at 8.30 pm over Channel NewsAsia.
Episode 3 - "Gateway to the World" will subsequently be shown on Wednesday 20 July 2005 at the same time.
