I don't have fear anymore. Touching those English words as if breathing the Chinese characters...even the complicated sentence structures, chim "words" and descriptions appear elegant and intricate to me.

Usually the whole book is written in English, I read with pleasure and no longer complain about the difficult words that confuse me. A few days ago I was reading BAWA 's ''complete works'', at the begining of the book, it gives an account of this Asian Architect's family history and his chilhood. I love the stories, and enjoyed greatly the biography of him.
Holding the book and kneeled in front of my bed, I was engrossed... while eating delicious juicy beautiful starfruit -- what a enjoyable moment! The happy feeling gained through reading since I grasped the language, but of course in Chinese.

I no longer read Chinese books as a form of substitution and relaxation when I wrestled with English texts. I get the same wonderful feeling when I read English books now.


Sometimes English gives me the precision that I could not achieve when I write in Chinese. As for my major, my own knowledge establishes on English, and the Chinese terminologies would just bring me confusion.

I got to read more and practise more in both languages.  : p  Dictionary is the necessity whenever I write because I need to check the correct spellings and grammers when a desired phrase come to my mind.

Strive for the improvement! Tempted to learn a new language!
