So there goes Dido. One of my favourite American singers. Looks like a simple enough girl, without all the unneccessary make-ups and accessories. Producing music in her own way, nonetheless commercialized but still manag to keep her uniqueness and that touch of flare.

Yeah so what is there to stop me from leading a simple life?

WhAT Is the definition of simplicity anyway?

Yeah so what if I'd love to write a log about my everyday happenings instead of digging up chim chim words to laboriously express myself?

It would be so much more simpler to be a simple girl and look at the world and people in a simple straight forward way.

Unfortunately the world doesn't do the same thing back.

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered.  Forgive them anyway.

            If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.  Be kind anyway.

            If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies.  Succeed anyway.

            If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you.  Be honest and sincere anyway.

            What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight.  Create anyway.

            If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous.  Be happy anyway.

            The good you do today, will often be forgotten.  Do good anyway.

         Give the best you have, and it will never be enough.  Give your best anyway.

         In the final analysis, it is between you and God.  It was never between you and them anyway.

So no matter what others have done to me, why change myself? Why turn myself into a wimpy whiny spoilt brat? No need and not worth it. Be kind and good anyway. No one can change me unless I'm willing to let them.
