Pine is a console email/News client. Lynx is a text model internet browser.
Just compiled Pine and Lynx under Mac OS X, very cool!
1. Browsing my blog with lynx.


2. Iterm support i18n, so it can show chinese.


3. Checking NUS email account with Pine using remote POP3 function.  Be aware of the inbox-path, please check it to {pop server/pop3/user=username}INBOX. but still can not send email(so the smtp server is just a fail trial).

5. I also compiled mpg123 using this port Makefile. so i am listening music using mpg123.


My compiling envirnment:
Mac OS 10.3.8(darwin 7.8.0) with Xcode 1.5
Anyone want to try it can download the binary here.
It contains the binaries for lynx, pine and mpg123, after expanded, open a terminal, go to their direction, copy them to /bin using:

$sudo cp lynx pine mpg123 /bin

 you will be asked password for root.
When all are done, you can call these binaries by type lynx, pine or mpg123 anytime you want.
