【Apple & Orange】How to Uninstall Safari1.3DP5!

    Apple has seeded Safari1.3DP5 to his developers. Although this seed is only offered to those subscribed developers, somebody may get it from some BT download websites and have a try.
    It is not always that good to be a test mouse! Safari1.3DP5 got some bugs as it is only a Developer preview.
One unbeared one is the incompatibility with Gmail website. You can not open the gmail page. It will only give you a blank page after a long time  loading.
   You may get some black text box for some sites. like  sinomac .
So you may want to uninstall it after an unhappy trial on 1.3 and back to 1.24. But this is not that easy!
    If you just delete the Safari1.3 .app file located in Application and reinstall the 1.2,which you can get from apple.com, then you may get "Localized string not found" in you right click menu.
But is there a way to do so and get my safari 1.2 back?
sure!
    The major change for safari1.3 is a new Webkit frame update. So your webkit frame has been updated to a new version after the 1.3 installation. This can not be restored just by delete safari .app and reinstallation of 1.2. The very first important thing is get a normal 1.2 webkit frame file. The full procedure is here:

1. download the safari1.24 webkit frame and .app here: Safari1.24
2. extract it. there are two files, Webkit.framework and Safari.app.
3.log in as root.
4.replace the /System/Library/Framework/Webkit.framework with above Webkit.framework. If you are told that"XX is now used by another application!". Then you can first put the previous webkit.framework into your trash and put the new one in. you dont have to
empty your trash.
5. put the new Safari.app into your Application(it would be a replacement if your safari1.3 is still there).
6. re-log into your user account and enjoy your Safari 1.24!
