Did not find it as extraordinary as it was said to be. It WAS a beautiful movie though. Hiking in beautiful scenery of nature as the little girl, Elsa, and the aging "grandpa", Julien, did in search for the legendary butterfly, was certainly appealing to people who love travelling. "Poacher" was the word that made Julien to let go Isabelle. A child only knows killing is always wrong while it never occurred to Julien that he was doing killing all along since he started collecting butterfliers. The precocious kid was also a endearing travel partner. The stait-faced Julien was totally melt by her and became a "grandpa" who would tell bedtime story. Must watch again. Did not really focus on the plot today.
Then visited Mr Chiam at his house this afternoon. It was nice to see him after more than two years. We were the last batch of his students in fact. Then furnishing of his house and the atmosphere of the family was simply the ideal type as far as my imagination goes. It was also nice to listen to him talking again after two years--enjoyed his lessons most when I was in ny. Borrowed DVDs from him to watch. So later can go back again to taste the milk tea made by Mdm Zhao:)
