Last day at Work...

Leaving everything that is all too familiar...

The 20 min route that i take to work everyday...

My colleague + friend + housemate who walks with me to the company...

The 油条 breakfast and other many many nice food that are forever so tempting...

The big fierce dogs that are forever roaming around to freak LT out...

The 菜市场 below the office which we rarely went...

The 沙县小吃 with the always-so-A.P. 老板娘...

华联创意广场 which WSP is located at...

The slow lift which we waited so long for...

The recep area which greeted me every monday to thursday...

Signing in to work every morning...

The small company with accomodates so many staff...

My own work area for the past 4 months...

The 街客 which i drink more than coke and pepsi...

The recep girl who turned out to be my best friend in WSP...

My ever-so-caring superior that is more of a friend than a manager...

My colleague Joshua who's work ethics i really respect...

The chio bu colleague 小S who sits beside me in office...

The group who shared all my woes at the 广西 business trip...

And the partner Clarence who made the 广西 trip possible for me and who saved me when i'm almost drowning...

Been complaining about how bad things are ever since July 9, 2007.

Now that things are actually going to be over,...

I suddenly miss it...

Miss something that has been part of my life for the past months...

Until 6.00 pm,...

When my work ends,...

When i'm officially no longer a staff of WSP...

Marking the end of the work part of GIP program...

Went out for dinner with WQ at night... at BABELA...

And Coldstone Creamery!!!

It's really boring when you have just ended a nice trip and have to climb up early in the morning to get to work AGAIN.

Esp. when your dear roomie is like nua-ing cosy-ly beside you cos she doesn't have to work.

Ahhh!!!

For these last 2 days of work, i basically have only ONE TASK: to HANDOVER all my work and "expertise" to the one who is taking over me - Haze.

It's only now that i realised how troublesome handing over things can be.

Not that the person is hard to teach.. nonono....

but there are SO MANY THINGS to do, to say, to teach, to practise,...

All the things i have learnt in these 5 weeks,...

All have to be transferred to another person in JUST 2 DAYS.

2 Days is all i have.

After a long long day of handing over,...

Anne (my sup.) decided to treat all of us to 四川菜 at this restaurant called 有家川菜!!! yum yum~ spicy food!! my favourite~!!!!

There are like 1001 reasons for me to not go for this trip...

Basically the most important among the 1001 excuses is: Kelly is NOT FIT. TOTALLY.

Esp. after those famous words from Ms. Jianghan "it's the climb of my life", i feel that my 八字 totally clashes with 黄山's and i should never go anywhere near that many many mountains.

Well... then after considering for such a long long time,...

There is ONE reason for me to go: It will be my last trip in China with my great group of new found friends.

"So what if it's SHAG?!?! HECK LA!!! Die then die!!! GO GO GO!!!"

There u have it. One ticket for Kelly to 黄山!!!

Nov 16 - Day 1 of 黄山 Trip --> Departure from Shanghai and Start of Climb.

Similar to like all previous trips, we need to wake up SUPER EARLY!!! left house at 5:45am and headed to near 人民广场 to take the bus to 黄山. The bus was like SO SPACIOUS can!!! so spacious till short-legged kelly felt so compressed. for once i understood how long-legged people feel in a cramp bus. totally CRAP.

Wasn't a consolation that we have to be in the bus for like 5 plus hours before we reach 黄山.

Sian 1/2!!!

One thing i forgot to mention in all previous trips is that... we will CONFIRM + CHOP have 粽子!!! Last time was like 大肉粽, this time is 红豆粽!!! Muahhaha~ yummylicious 粽子 is definitely something that we look forward during long long bus rides~

And when we finally 熬过 those freaking uncomfortable 5 hours of crampy bus ride, we realised there are more more bus riding to do before we reach the place where we start climbing.

like DOTZ.

Gimme a break manx.

But as the start of climbing gets closer and closer, i get more & more scared la... like seriously. as they say “知彼知己，百战百胜”, so i guess in this situation, ... “知彼（黄山）知己，白爬百胜”

the only thing i noe is the 知己 part which is = to Kelly is UNFIT.

CUI totally.

Once we reach there, we took a cable car to the higher part of the mountain which we start climbing!! Well there was a LONG flight of stairs to climb for us to even reach the cable car and THAT ALONE was enough to make me pant when i reach the cable car.

Talk about being CUI. + UNFIT.

That is on top of the cold mountain weather all thanks to the rainy weather all day long.

Not forgetting the "cute" yellow raincoat we all had to put on!!! (umbrellas are not allowed on the mountains btw) we all looked like duckies with tt pathetic raincoat.

Cos of the stupid drizzle, the mountains were like SO MISTY + FOGGY and bascially all we were surrounded by were mist + fog + cloud. Anything but nice scenary.

黄山 is supposedly one of the nicer place with excellent scenaries in China and yet all we saw were... NOTHING.

We didn't climb much on the first day... was basically a WARM UP for wad's coming up on the 2nd day. According to our dera tourguide, the distance we climbed on the first day is only 5% of the total journey.

Went back to hotel at around 5 plus and recuperated for the rest of the day... Hotel room is like small and rather cozy,.. definitely nice for a one night stay in the mountains. must better than expected.

Nov 17 - Day 1 of 黄山 Trip --> More Climbing!!

I had to drag myself out of bed once again. today we had to finish the rest of the 95% remaining climbing!!! Woot!!!  

We walked a total of 12 km from morning till afternoon. Up the hill and down to the bottom to have our lunch. lunch is like really really pathetic. seriously.

Other than many many long flights of stairs and many many retarded pics, there was basically nothing special about the yellow yellow mountain. (it's not yellow btw. MUAHA)

Nothing special...

UNTIL AT NIGHT.

The guys suddenly turn crazy and started torturing me! (Details and "documentations" of which shall never revealed."

Woohoo!!! Today we had a nice + sumptuous dinner at 百岁鱼!!! --> where the dishes are like mostly fishie fishie!!!

"We" = Jianghan + Swee Meng + LT + WQ + JJ + Yi Ling (is that how u spell??) + ME!!!

Now that the days to Singapore is so short, every meal seems to be a farewell dinner.

It was really yum yum and relatively cheap!! RMB 35 per pax. Full till damn full~ WooT!

Been feeling the pressure since last night.

Today is supposedly the FINAL deadline for the work that I have done for the past week and stress in building up especially for SH** watermelon and I can almost predict what happens today even if I’m not a fortune teller.

Well,… the only thing I didn’t expect was things to turn out SO BAD.

Everything was rather “peaceful” (a bit weird to use that word cos it was only peaceful in shanghai I can siam all the action back in 玉林) all the way till about 2pm.

There was SO MANY MISTAKES that I made (okay la watermelon was right.). SO MANY that watermelon saw the need to CALL ME on my handphone to scream at me instead of doing it over emails.

I think while he was trying to get my number from Edwa** there was a little “fight” / 冲突regarding the need to call me or something.

Well main pt is in the end watermelon won and he got my cell number.

Then he insulted me with...

“you have no integrity” à Kel: if I have no integrity I wouldn’t have spent so long doing your SH** Mr. Watermelon. And btw, the mistakes are genuine. Even if they are retarded mistakes.

AND “I’m going to write a complaint letter” à Kel: so typical Singaporean. Sorry I had to generalize my fellow countrymen.

AND “you still going back to Singapore to work RIGHT??” à Kel: oh here goes the threatening…

AND “you better get it done by 4.30pm, if not you’ll get it from me!!” à Kel: wah. Hear alrdy abit scared… but thinking about it… wad can he do? The most I dun work in Big 4 la!!!

Seriously, how is it possible that I work in Big 4 after facing such sh** from people who came out from there (even though he work for only 1.5 yrs).

Or maybe it’s just cos I finally come to realization that I’m not cut out for Big 4.

Oh and cos of this crap, I missed a nice dinner with my housemates.

GREAT.

On top of the already sh** day, the hot water had to malfunction when I’m bathing HALFWAY. And for that matter, it’s 12 degrees now.

GREAT.

Totally not my day.

I need a break.

Now that i'm away from that freaking s*i* i can finally relax abit more!!!

It's the last day of school for the guys and therefore,... it's time for a "GRADUATION PARTY"!!!!!

Well instead of the normal prom prom thing where everyone has to dress up nice, our definition of "Grad Party" was to go CLUBBING.

At BON BON.

WOW!!!!!!

This time all of us really went!!! Two full houses (okay la except for Eeseng who's unfortunately sick at such a crucial time)!!

Clubbing in Shanghai is really quite cheap lei.. RMB80 (guys RMB120) for free flow drinks --> which are not  super diluted...) + nice music all the way till 4am (though i would've wanted it to be longer still~!!)

The plan AT FIRST was like to get Liting and Junjie DRUNK la. Reason of which is rather the obvious.

THEN i duno what happened in the end they were like trying to make ME drunk.

like... HUH?!?!?!

AND the HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT was YUNTING LA!!!

No matter how chio the girls dress or how suave the guys are, nothing beats YUNTING.

He just has a way of grabbing the limelight manz.

Clubbing is like SO FUN.

Work SUCKS.

All because of that F**K*** watermelon that never fails to piss me off totally.

Everytime i think about that freaking 烂 watermelon i feel like chopping him into a million pieces.

All he does is to ATTACK me in front of all other colleagues with comments like "can u all leave a space between your notes? it's common sense rite? you get what i mean rite kelly???" --> FINE so i forgot to add lines CAN ANOT?!?!

and "kelly i'm not a dustbin hor" --> YAR u're not dustbin u're just TRASH.

Sometimes an F word is really really apt for situations like this.

Come on la.

You work in Big 4 before doesn't mean everyone can telepathy with u on what u think and outperforms your standards.

And even if we dun perform as good do u need to be so sarcastic?

30 already still dun get married.

Hope he doesn't get married for life.

Seriously i'm getting a bit traumatised about working in the Big 4.

If everyone's like that in Big 4, i think i'd rather be a housewife.

If it isn't for him, i would have very much enjoyed the 广西 trip.

Summary for today:

1. "Watermelon" PMS-ing real bad

2. My colleagues (Joshua+Bill) and I went off to lunch without telling him

3. "Watermelon" started showing his "authority" and starts degrading us and treating us like idiots/slaves.

4. All 3 of 3 were like SUPER PISSED but yet we can't say anything

5. Our saviour (beloved Mr. Clarence) arrived at 玉林 came to our rescue!!!

6. "Watermelon" apologised. (WWWOOOOWWW!!!!)

7. O.T. happily till 2300hrs.

Seriously, there is more to being a leader than to be able to teach, lead, increase efficiency and getting work done. It's about PR too... if "watermelon" hadn't been so harsh on us, we wouldn't be so unhappy (like totally pissed!!) and wouldn't have complained to Clarence, and Clarence wouldn't have talked to Dicappucino (who's watermelon's boss) and watermelon wouldn't have to apologise.

So much things can be avoided if he had put on a smile at times and to relax when it's appropriate.

Of course, he must be feeling damn stressed but... that doesn't explain for this "变态" behaviour.

Cloud's clear now and we can finally work feeling less stressed and with the unhappiness out of the way. =D

And the moment i see Clarence in the hotel, I SEE HOPE. totally feel like hugging him and thank him for being my saviour!!! not that he CONFIRM can help us with the stupid watermelon and dicappucino, but having him here makes me feel so PROTECTED.

Today I totally get the feeling of being UNDERPAID and OVERWORKED.

With that insignificant pea intern salary (RMB1000) of mine, I have to work like from 8.30 am to like 12 midnight.

With no O.T. pay, only O.T. leave.

What crap.

Worked so long and so faithfully that I feel that I’m getting sick.

Times when u feel 101% like taking MC and yet you can’t.

Feel so TORTURED.

 + Colleagues who are totally pulling the team down and slacking when we're pia-ing and suggest overnight O.T. when everyone else is freaking shag. 

他妈的！！！ 

Not the mention 西瓜 saying "Continue working" and "Continue working, who said we are done?" when we are like almost PLEADING him to let us off for the day? 

And for that matter, we worked till 12.40 AM. 

like A.M. WTF. 

Curse that he won't get married. And get sacked by his company. And nv will find a job again. And freaking be a loser for the rest of his life. 

Inhumane ppl deserves this. TOTALLY.
