Subject: Subject Registration
Dear Sir,
I am a first year common engine student and had just checked my exam results for last semester.
I am told that I have to remain in First Year in year 04/05; there are few questions I want to ask:
1. Is there and chance for me to appeal for a promotion to Second Year? If yes, who shall I approach?
Ans: You will be promoted to the Second Year if you have earned 28 AUs & above.
2. Do I need to retake all the First Year common engine subjects or only the failed subjects?
Ans: No, you will only have to register the failed subjects during your date & time of registration.
3. Can I register for Second Year subjects in year 04/05? If yes, which course should I apply under? (i.e. MPE or EEE or CEE)
Ans: Yes, you can register Year 2 subjects after the release of your streaming results.
4. How will my AU be calculated? And will it be possible for me to promote to Second Year in 2nd Semester in year 04/05?
Ans: Please see our reply to Question 1.
Thank you.
