Display the name of your loved ones or any messege you want, right beside the time on your taksbar like this:

Step 1 - Go to Control Panal - Regional and Language Options

Step 2 - Click on the 'Customize' button. It doesn't matter what language have you chosen.

Step 3 -
Go to the tab named 'Time'.
At 'Time format' column, add 'tt' before the time notation. And change both 'AM symbol' and 'PM symbol' to the messege you want to display.
Step 4 - That's it, heh.

'Operation Bookworm' started days before the exams. Since then, Chief Commanders Adam Zhang and Gerald Huang have been working hard by themselves (due to lack of fund and poor human resource management) in the temporary headquarter - Hall 11 Study Room.
It's believed that 'Operation Bookworm' is going to last until the end of the exam period. Here are some insights of this operation.
- = Logistic Department = -
- = Biodegradable Rifle Stand = -
Fruitarians are gonna kill me for doing this, ouch!

And notice board too.

Cmd. Huang planning for his upcoming battle which is expected to start at 0900 tomorrow morning.

Cmd. Zhang decrypting enemy's transmission signals.

These are their most traditional, and also the safest communication methods - writing and drawing.

This report on 'Operation Bookworm' is brought to you by Cmd. Zhang. (What? The Commander himself? Yes, Like I mentioned, we are lack of manpower.)
PIAH = fight in Hokkien (闽南语)
I seldom online, seldom talk to Daphne and almost stopped blogging for the last one week. All these must thank to the 3 exam papers I took on 15th, yesterday and this morning.
My brain has been tensioning for the last few days, whether studying or not. It's just the CPU is busy working, and you can hear the fan in your computer keep on running to release the heat generated in the CPU.
I got problem sleeping at night, toss and turn for 1 or 2 hours before I can fall asleep is normal now. I can't slow down my brain!
The only moment I feel good nowdays, is when I finish writing my exam paper and waiting for it to be collected. Well, I mean after I finish answering those questions I am able to solve.
How's the results? No one will know until end of Dec. But let's put it this way, for the last 3 papers, if all that I have solved are all correct, I will get 3 A. (dreaming and drooling) If not, passing still shouldn't be a problem.
The next 3 exams on 22nd, 27th and 30th would be more challenging. Not because those subjects are hard, in fact today's subject is the hardest among all, but I spent too much time revising these 3 subject and left the next 3 almost untouched.
So from today onwards, PIAH for the next 3.
13 more days to freedom!
Suddenly remembered what my grandpa (mom side) had been telling me what he was taught in Japanese school while they envaded China: -
In Chinese: 一生拼命 [ yì shēng pīn mìng ]
meaning, fight through your life.
Here are some random photos that I had no time to upload.

I saw a parcel in my mail box just now, but I never bring my keys, so the Hall Officer kindly opened the mail box for me.
Here it is!

1st Class Royal Mail from London. What's inside?

It's the charger for my Sharp 802sh, the phone Daphne is currently using. She somehow managed to left the charger on a cab, and it's not possible to get a replacement in Singapore.
Luckily there's something called Ebay, so after a search I Ebay-ed the charger from UK here. The price of the charger is surpricingly low at only £0.29. I was almost wondering whether it was a scam. But the 99.8% positive feedback of the seller cleared my doubts.
Postage to Singapore is £2.99, so added up the total cost for a phone charger all the way from UK £4.28, which is only S$13.07. The charger is made in China, but who cares? As far as it does the job, I'm satisfied.
And it only took 3 days for the postage to reach Singpore, including last weekend.
For those who always purchase products locally, do consider alternative methods like Ebay. All payments are done through PayPal using credit card, simple and easy.

SINGAPORE: The Goods and Services Tax will be increased to 7 percent, from the current 5 percent. This was announced by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in Parliament on Monday.
Mr Lee said more details would be given in next year's Budget Speech which has been scheduled for 15 February.
The Prime Minister made the announcement when responding to the issues raised by MPs over 4 days of debate - among them the widening income gap in Singapore as a result of globalisation.
Stressing that globalisation was here to stay, and Singaporeans would have to deal with its impact, Mr Lee said this was something that could strain the country's social compact, and this was why it was essential that there would be a whole set of measures to tilt playing field in favour of the lower income group.
Adding that the GST increase would help finance enhanced social safety nets to help this group, Mr Lee said it was better to raise the GST when the economy was doing well. - CNA /dt

Notice to all, from now onwards, please call me Adam, Adam Zhang or Zhang Chaoyi.
After a steamboat session with Daphne and Justin last night this morning, which started at 00:20 at Geylang. We finally got my English name fixed.
Adam
I have been using 'GriGri' as my ID or display name online for quite some time. GriGri is in fact a climbing device produced by a French company Petzl. However people always mispronounce it as 'GiGi' or 'GirGir', which sounds very much like a girl's name.
Later I 'created' another name for myself, 'Schermon'. It has the similar pronouncation of the Chinese term '摄魔' (She4 Mo2) which means something related to photography but I don't know how to traslate its exact meaning. the 'Sch' in 'Schermon' gave it some 'German factor'. I even have a Visa Card with the name 'Schermon Zhang'!
However, 'Schermon' didn't manage to win any votes from my friends. Daphne just don't like it, and Justin said it sounds like '什么' (Shen2 Me4), which means 'What' in Chinese, and people will end up calling '什么张' ('What Zhang')...
So after what we started a whole new round of selection.
I don't want a common English name like Jason, Daniel or Mike. That would increase the possibility of my name being called but actually someone else is wanted. It also causes confusion to others, Like when we are talking about Justin, people will ask 'Which Justin', because there are so many out there. (No offence)
After passing enough names through our minds, we stopped at Adam. First of all, it's not a wierd name. Secondly, not many people are called Adam, none of my friends at least. It is a simple word that I don't think anyone will mispronounce or misspell, and also it starts with letter A. Means that I won't be always at the end of the name lists like before, when my surname starts with Z.
So here's my new name, Adam.
Please also take note that my MSN has hence changed. Refer to my MSN display name for the new address.

Dell XPS M1210

Base System
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7200 2GHz, 4MB Cache, 667MHz FSB (+ S$ 116.95)
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7400 2.16GHz, 4MB Cache, 667MHz FSB (+ S$ 517.65)
Operating System
Windows XP Professional (+ S$ 99.75)
Hardware Maintenance
3-year XPS Premier Service with 3 year Complete Cover (+ S$ 357)
Displays
12.1" Wide Screen XGA display with TrueLife (1280x800 res.)
12.1" Wide Screen XGA display with TrueLife (1280x800 res.) & 1.3MP Web Cam (+ S$ 111.30)
Memory
2048MB (2 x 1024MB) 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (+ S$ 333.90)
Hard Drives
80GB SATA 7200RPM Performance Hard Drive (+ S$ 105.00)
100GB SATA 7200RPM Performance Hard Drive (+ S$ 199.50)
Optical Drive
Internal 24x Max DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive
Internal 8x DVD+/-RW Combination Drive with dual layer write capabilities (+ S$ 58.80)
Battery
9-cell 85Whr Lithium Ion Primary Battery (+ S$ 84.00)
Sound Solution
Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy ADVANCED HD Audio Software (+ S$ 16.80)
Bluetooth Module
Dell Wireless 355 Bluetooth Module (+ S$ 36.75)
Video Solution
256MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 Turbo Cache (+ S$ 117.60)
